Arches Hiking Weekend @ Natural Bridge State Park
There are hundred of natural arches and bridges within a few miles of Kentucky’s Natural Bridge, and winter is the best time to see them. Join experienced guides for a day of hiking throughout the area. Hikes range from short easy walks to long treks in the backcountry. On site registration fee: $5 adult, $2 child.

For the adventurous only! Join a naturalist for guided hikes throughout Kentucky’s land of the arches. You’ll get a good look at the area’s rugged cliff lines, rockhouses, rhododendrons, and natural arches. Pre-registration required. $15 fee. Natural Bridge State Park.

The Natural Bridge area is home to hundred of species of native plants; enjoy them with other botanists, gardeners and nature lovers during the longest running celebration of native flora in Kentucky. Field trips are geared for al levels of participation. Fee applies.

Herpetology Weekend
Learn about the nature’s most misunderstood critters! Experienced herpetologists will lead field trips into the Red River Gorge to observe reptiles and amphibians in their native habitat.
