Attractions ...
The 26,000 acre Red River Gorge Geological Area and the 2,200 acre Natural Bridge State Resort Park are the main attractions that have resulted in this corner of Kentucky being classified as Kentucky’s Rockies.
70 million years of wind and water have developed this area into two natural wonders. Hiking, trails, rock climbing, scenic driving routes and canoeing await the outdoor lover in you. Kentucky’s Rockies also offers an abundance of other fun and relaxing activities including: historic attractions, a reptile zoo, live bluegrass music performances, golfing, an old fashioned drive-in theater, ATV/drag car racing, and cozy mountain cabins.
Without question, you’ll be sure to discover your “Unbridled Spirit” on your next visit to Kentucky’s Rockies.
